Camberwell Library

This project involves the creation of a new build 7500sqft public library in the London Borough of Southwark. The development consists of a double height library space, a dedicated childrens library area, mezzanine space, group multiuse room, customer contact facilities as well as staff rooms. This project is targeting BREEAM Very Good.

Elementa are undertaking all mechanical, electrical, public health and sustainable strategies for the library. Sustainable elements of the project include using a fabric first approach as well as a sedum roof. Elementa have also provided energy strategy reports, overheating analysis along with natural and mechanical ventilation options papers.
