Residences at the John Marshall

The John Marshall Hotel was constructed in 1929 was the premier downtown hotel in Richmond for many years and is a registered historic landmark. The current owner wished to fully renovate this former grand hotel and conference facility to a $50 million mixed-use project that will return the property to its former elegance. The 16 story apartment building is fully renovated and retrofitted, the facility houses 238 luxury downtown apartments, and about 20,000 square feet of retail spaces, restaurants and a rooftop swimming pool. The renovation is aimed at making the John Marshall a “green building” with environmentally friendly elements such as energy-efficient windows and mechanical systems.

Integral Group completed a feasibility study, schematic design, and design development documents for the adaptive re-use of this complex building into a mixed use project.
