Tsleil-Waututh Community Centre development is approximately 24,600 sq ft, which includes 16,200 sq ft of Tsleil-Waututh nation development, 4,300 sq ft of Health Centre and 4,100 sq ft of leasable office space. In the heart of the Tsleil-Waututh community, residents will be able to enjoy a full gymnasium and community centre that provides a space for sporting events, community gatherings, meetings and other special events.

The building will be predominantly naturally ventilated with all perimeter rooms equipped with manual operable windows. Internal rooms will be ventilated via displacement ventilation or overhead ventilation to suit the space requirements. The space heating and cooling system for all small individual rooms with a demand will be convective heating and cooling units. The new centre’s electrical systems design includes distribution, specialized lighting, communication and a fire alarm systems.

Integral Group is currently providing mechanical and electrical consulting services to this innovative first nation cultural and health centre located in North Vancouver, BC working with Lubor Trubka Associates Architects.
