Marilyn is passionate about creating the most sustainable and healthiest buildings to enhance the built environment. With strong expertise in green building rating systems, wellness-centered design strategies, and integrated design, she excels at working with clients and project teams to deliver high-performing buildings. Bridging her sustainability expertise with a strong background in health and wellness consulting, Marilyn offers a holistic approach that focuses on the triple bottom line: people, planet, and profit.
Marilyn has consulted on some of the largest, most ambitious projects including Net Zero Carbon, Waste, Water, and Energy Campuses. From LEED Platinum, Living Building Challenge and WELL projects to Sustainability Master Plans and EcoDistricts, Marilyn’s attention to detail and process-oriented approach allows her to succeed in coordinating a wide range of disciplines to meet the project goals.
Additionally, Marilyn specializes in working with large companies to develop their internal sustainability and wellness strategies, tools, and design standards. In this capacity, she works directly with owners to set sustainability and wellness targets and create programs to implement them across their global portfolios.
Marilyn joined Integral Group in 2015 after working as the Green Building Manager for an architecture firm. An Atlanta native, she recently relocated from Integral’s Oakland office to join the Atlanta team. Further serving her passion for sustainability, Marilyn volunteers as the Chair of USGBC’s Location and Planning Technical Advisory Group (TAG) and serves on the Greenbuild 2019 Tours Committee.
