Emily is an electrical engineer in the construction industry with 15 years’ of detailed experience. She has completed a Masters degree in Building Services Engineering with Management and has been awarded ‘member’ status with CIBSE, as well as becoming a chartered engineer. Emily is very motivated and seeks to enhance her knowledge and experiences in the construction industry.
Emily has experience within a range of sectors including education, commercial, hotels and leisure to name a few, but has recently been focusing on Healthcare work where she has delivered a number of high-profile electrical designs, using her Postgraduate research on lighting design to full effect.
Notably, Emily leads the electrical side of many projects and has knowledge in a wide range of specialist electrical equipment in different sectors. Her knowledge allows Emily to solve issues on site, present competent designs and write detailed specifications for projects. Emily has excellent knowledge and ability in respect of sustainable lighting design which is shown in many of her aged care and medical primary care centre projects.
