Having worked on various projects across multiple sectors including commercial, institutional, and medical, Corey was able to leverage his broad knowledge to the design of a very complex electrical system for the Providence Tarzana Reimagined Project, a half-billion-dollar expansion of a hospital in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley. Corey’s team was challenged to design an innovative building system in response to changing seismic codes and challenging client energy goals. The project was the largest investment in a healthcare campus in the San Fernando Valley to date. It was delivered using a design-assist delivery model that utilized sub-contractor-generated shop drawings as the documents used for OSHPD review and approval.
