LETI featured in Architects’ Journal

The London Energy Transformation Initiative (LETI) facilitated by Elementa is featured in this month’s Architects’ Journal “Why architects need to wake up to the carbon emergency”. LETI is profiled along with other prominent organisations such as UK Green Building Council (UKGBC) and The RIBA within the ‘Who is doing what to tackle carbon emissions in construction?’ section. Read the full article which highlights the dramatic IPCC report denoting only 12 years remain to limit global warming to 1.5°C as well as shifting the focus to whole life carbon.

LETI was launched by Elementa in May 2017 with Senior Engineer Clara Bagenal George founding the initiative born from frustration with London’s current energy policy. Now LETI is a network of over 250 built environment professional that are working together to put London on the path to a zero carbon future. Visit https://www.leti.london/ for more information and how to get involved with the group to influence the future direction of London’s energy policy.
