Award Season Arrives – Elementa shortlisted for 2 Industry Accolades
Receiving recognition from the institutions that lead our industry is a substantial measure of our competence that Elementa proudly champions. With award season in full swing, we are delighted to be shortlisted for Engineering Consultancy of the Year at the 2018 Building Awards and this year’s Employer of the Year 2018, of which we are current title holders, at the CIBSE Young Engineer Awards.
With initial concern that 2018 would be the year Brexit began to impact the construction industry, the built environment has defiantly mitigated the initial uncertainty by continuing to grow which has been mirrored within Elementa. We have more chartered engineers than ever before, continue to work on some of the world’s most complex and challenging projects whilst always seeking to challenge the norm – with no future signs of slowing down. As the industry’s longest running and most prestigious recognition of excellence, the Building Award’s nomination for Engineering Consultancy of the year highlights this commitment and dedication from within our company.
Our efforts have not gone unnoticed by CIBSE also who have shortlisted us as Employer of the Year for continuing to pro-actively champion young people in the building services sector allowing them to pursue opportunities with global projects and deep green engineering. We continue to make this a top priority within the company as investing in the next generation of talent is what ultimately drives the future passion of sustainability within the wider industry.
The award nominations complemented the recent publication of Building Magazine’s Top 150 Consultants where we had climbed 16 places within the table as well as an improvement on last year’s position within the Top 50 Engineers list.
The winners for the awards will be announced within the coming months and we look forward to continue driving initiatives, innovations and excellence that have advocated our shortlistings.
