This project comprised the renewal of the ageing main campus buildings with 21st century learning spaces. This included a new higher skills learning centre, refurbishment of annexe incorporating hair & beauty salons and art & design studios. A new building is also being built on the main campus which will house a rehearsal room, dance studio, changing rooms and staff room.
M & E Services included Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health Design, Dynamic Thermal Modelling to confirm summer time temperature conditions and shading requirements as well as window design/ventilation concept. Full Energy Strategy was provided, and the project was rated BREEAM excellent (2008) |
