This centre is a new, purpose-designed, locality-based health and social care centre. The building accommodates a GP surgery, a podiatry, a dental practice, a pharmacy, a social services unit and a primary care outreach centre and treatment facility.
Our work on this project included provision of all mechanical, electrical and above-ground-drainage design. Energy saving strategies included low energy lighting and maximisation of natural daylight, dynamic thermal modelling to utilise the form of the building and a natural ventilation strategy that ensured the building complied with the NHS’s stringent internal environment policy. |
