| Elementa have recently completed their appointment as Building Services Consultants for Hotel du Vin on the refurbishment of an existing warehouse and the development of new build areas to form a 42 bedroom Hotel. Situated on a hill it has an enviable position, within a conservation area over looking the River Tyne and also with views up the river and Quay Side to the Tyne Bridge. and three storey extensions in keeping with the character of the existing structures to the rear and side forming a landscaped courtyard at the heart of the property.
The hotel features 42 bedrooms, bistro, wine tasting "La Roche" room, bar and the landscaped terraced courtyard. Newcastle Hotel du Vin has more suites than any of the other hotels in the chain and features elements that have become synonymous with the HdV brand; monsoon showers in the luxuriously appointed bathrooms (some at Mezzanine level), a well stocked humidor to complement the outdoor cigar shack. |
